Green Promise Project

We love our planet!

As Evolv continues to grow so does our heart, our passion and desire for outreach in the community and into the world. Our dream to make a difference in the lives of individuals is matched by our goal to make a difference in the world as well.

Global packaging industries produce more than 140 million tonnes of plastic per year. This doesn't even include several other industries plastic production, in which roughly 7.82 billion tonnes are produced annually overall.

We understand the importance of a clean healthy planet & clear waterways & oceans.

By using biodegradable, compostable, or recyclable packaging we are minimizing the likelihood of single use plastics and packaging materials from entering into waterways & landfills.

According to a study done by the NOAA, among the top 10 kinds of trash picked up during Coastal Cleanups are food wrappers, beverage bottles, grocery bags, straws, and take out containers, all made of plastic.

Evolv is removing itself from that equation. We are proud to introduce our Green Promise Project. Evolv Kitchen's Packaging materials are either recyclable, biodegradable, or compostable! Every item we use to ship your order to you is either a post recycled material that can be recycled again or will breakdown in a landfill (or the ocean, heaven forbid should it end up there!).

Take The Pledge! Evolv’s Green Project Promise

We are minimizing the likelihood of single use plastics and packaging materials from entering into bodies of water & even landfills. Only about 10% of recyclable materials produced are even recycled! This is where you come in…

We can't do this without you! We need you to help make a difference. By pledging to the EGPP, you agree to honor a commitment to make our planet cleaner and healthier for all by recycling and discarding ALL your personal and home waste appropriately. Only about 10% of recyclable materials produced are even recycled!

So start by refraining from using single-use plastics and other materials that could harm animals and wildlife should they not reach a landfill. Partake in your local recycling program and be sure to ask your city for the proper recycling bins. If they do not have a recycling program, send a letter to your mayor’s office requesting they begin residential recycling.

Our Staff Promises

Evolv’s Green Project Promise exists to help minimize our plastic waste footprint overall. But we decided to take it a step further.

Since the food industry is also among the top producers of wasted food, food waste is over 35% of the national food supply in America which is roughly 133 billion pounds and $161 billion in food a year. Our kitchen has pledged to our Zero Waste Promise by minimizing food waste!

By ordering only what we need for production and cooking what is necessary to fulfill orders, our kitchen avoids throwing away thousands of pounds of food each year, unlike the vast majority of the food and beverage industry in America.

Through stringent waste management protocols, strict production numbers (cooking to fulfillment orders) & quality monitoring, we avoid the need to throw away perished foods and overages like too much rice or meat Our staff also follow minimal ordering procedures when sourcing our whole food ingredients from suppliers to prevent overages & therefore decreasing spoilage & waste up to 99% more than other commercial kitchens.

Our staff also pledged to our Corporate Recycling Program which will implement the recycling of all recyclable incoming materials we use to run our facility!

And if that weren't enough. Our employees have even taken the liberty to repurpose any and all food materials that do happen to spoil. Members of our team take home food scraps and what spoiled produce we may have and adds it in to their home compost piles to feed their garden and fruiting trees!
